Christine Jerome

Full professor functional macromolecular
systems and advanced biomaterials.

“Polyphosphoesters: a flexible platform for the design of particulate drug delivery systems”

Christine Jerome completed her PhD in the field of electropolymerization in 1998 at the University of Liege, Belgium.

In 2000, she joined the University of Ulm in Germany as a recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt scholarship and studied the synthesis of functional magnetic nanohybrids.

Research Associate by the National Foundation of the Scientific Research in 2001, she became Professor and director of the Center for Education and Research on Macromolecules (CERM) at Liege University in 2006.

Full Professor since 2013, her research interests include electropolymerization, biosourced polymers, functional macromolecular systems and advanced biomaterials.
