Newsletter | Edition 1 | May 2021
This is the 1st newsletter of Brightlands Polymer Days 2021 which will be held from
November 7 – 9, 2021 in NH Conference Centre Koningshof in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.
With this newsletter, we would like to give you a sneak preview
on the progress of Brightlands Polymer Days 2021.
Brightlands Polymer Days 2021 is a series of scientific conferences in the field of polymer science and technology. It is a collaboration and organised by the Belgian Polymer Group, KNCV Macromolecular Division, PTN, the former Dutch Polymer Days and Brightlands Rolduc Polymer Conference. These partners have joined forces to start a new scientific conference where academia, from student to Nobel Prize winner, and industry can meet.
Our mission is to create a platform for academic polymer scientists and industrial researchers around the world, working on polymeric materials. At the conference, you can meet and link the societal and industrial materials needs of tomorrow with the latest progress on fundamental and scientific knowledge in the field of polymers. The main theme of the conference is: “Innovative Polymer Materials for a Sustainable Future”. With the following topics:
- Mobility
- Energy
- Health
- Circularity
Abstract submission is still open.
The abstract submission is still open, the deadline for submitting an abstract is June 1, 2021.
Do not miss this opportunity!
Confirmed Plenary Speaker
Meet Nobel Prize winner Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn at the Brightlands Polymer Days 2021 on November 7-9! The French chemist was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1987 for his synthesis of cryptands. Prof. Lehn was an early innovator in the field of supramolecular chemistry, i.e., the chemistry of host–guest molecular assemblies created by intermolecular interactions, and continues to innovate in this field. You do not want to miss out on his presentation! Read more here
