Brightlands Polymer Days issue a two-yearly award for talented and visionary young academic researchers. The aim of the Award is to reward and stimulate excellent scientific researchers who have the vision to impact societal changes with their achievements.
Brightlands Polymer Days 2021 is open for academic scientists who have achieved a PhD degree less than 5 years before the moment of application. The scope of the research of the candidates should fall within the scope of the conference, in 2021 this is “Innovative Polymer Materials for a Sustainable Future”.
Candidates should be able to show their scientific impact by submitting a CV with list of publications, including the citation H-factor. Candidates should be able to show the potential societal impact of their research in a motivated side letter. Societal impact will be evaluated in the framework of the UN Global Development Goals.
The Organizing Committee of Brightlands Polymer Days 2021, in close collaboration with its Scientific Committee, will select 3 nominees who will be asked to present their work at Brightlands Polymer Days 2021. One of the nominees will be awarded the Brightlands Polymer Days Award 2021. The two other nominees will receive a certificate of nomination.

The Organizing Committee of Brightlands Polymer Days 2021, in close collaboration with its Scientific Committee, will select the best poster presentation. The scope of the research should fall within the scope of the conference: “Innovative Polymer Materials for a Sustainable Future”.
The winner will be awarded the Brightlands Polymer Days Award on November 10, 2021.
To be eligible for the Brightlands Polymer Days Award you must submit a poster via the abstract submission. You are also allowed to send in a poster after your abstract has been accepted.
