A joint initiative, formerly known as Brightlands Rolduc Polymer conference and Dutch Polymer Days
Brightlands Polymer Days are a series of scientific conferences in the field of polymer science and technology. It is a collaboration of the previously organized Brightlands Rolduc Polymer Conference and the Dutch Polymer Days (PTN), who have joined forces to start a new scientific conference where academia, from student until Nobel Prize winner, and industry can meet.
Our mission is to create a platform for academic polymer scientists and industrial researchers around the world, working on polymeric materials. At the conference, you can meet and link the societal and industrial materials needs of tomorrow with the latest progress on fundamental and scientific knowledge in the field of polymers. The main theme of the conference is: “Innovative Polymer Materials for a Sustainable Future”.
During the previously held conferences more than 100 international scientists, both industry and academia, attended more than 40 high-quality Lectures and Poster Presentations, each edition.
From the first edition on, the Brightlands Polymer Days will secure not only to give leading, noble prize-winning, scientists the stage, but also give young, talented upcoming Ph.D.’s the opportunity to present their latest research. In addition, there will be a possibility too to meet young inspiring entrepreneurs, starting up their own sustainable company, driven by breakthroughs in polymer science and technology.
Hope to see you all (again): November 8-10, 2021.
In 2019 we have collected all abstracts of the conference in a digital book of abstracts. You can download the book here.
